Purr-fect Trio of Cats | My Favorite Things

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing another tall card using the Purr-fect stamp set from My Favorite Things.

1.jpg

I started by creating the windowed panel using the oval die from the Magic Color Slider die set from Lawn Fawn. I used Neenah Classic Crest Solar white cardstock for this panel. I then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I stamped the three cat images from the stamp set onto another piece of Neenah with Gina K Jet Black Amalgam ink. I colored them in with Copic markers and then cut them out the my Scan N cut.

2.jpg

Next I created some backgrounds for each other the three cats using some scrap cardstock. The cardstocks I used were Peacock and Green Apple from Simon Says Stamp and In the Navy from Gina K Designs. I used the Diagonal Stripes stencil from Simon Says Stamp and the Mini Staggered Circles stencil from My Favorite Things to blend a pattern onto each of the three backgrounds. The inks that I used from blending are Blue Lagoon, In the Navy, and Wild Dandelion from Gina K.

4.jpg

I added foam tape to the back of the windowed panel and then added each of the three background I made to the three windows. I then adhered the entire panel to a 9x4 card base. I took the three cats that I had colored and glued them to the inside of each of the three windows with Gina K Connect Glue.

3.jpg

To finish the card up I used a white gel pen to add some highlights on each of the cats noses. I also used Glossy Accents on the cat eyes to make them nice and shiny.

Rainbow Texture Paste | Celebration Video Hop

Hey crafty people! Today I am excited to be sharing a card I created for a video hop celebrating It’s Me, JD hitting 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel! We celebrated with some rainbow themed cards and there is also a giveaway! If you want to find out more about the giveaway head over to It’s Me, JD’s blog.

1.jpg

To start this card I cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock to 3.5 x 8.5. I then picked out a sentiment from the Big Birthday Greetings stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and stamped it on the panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

2.jpg

Next I taped the panel to a craft mat with the Abstract Triangles stencil from Simon Says Stamp over the top. I dyed some Ranger transparent gloss texture paste with Distress Oxide ink and spread it over the stencil. I used the colors Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, Abandoned Coral, Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, and Tumbled Glass.

3.jpg

In order to dye the texture paste all you need to do is smoosh the ink pad onto the craft mat, add the paste, and then mixed it up with a palette knife. Once I was done added the paste to the top of the panel I washed the stencil off and did the bottom half of the panel as well. Next I removed and washed the stencil, the craft mat, and the palette knife and then I set the panel aside to dry for about an hour.

4.jpg

I popped up the panel onto a 4 x 9 card base with foam tape. To finish it up I added a few Moonshine sequins from Simon Says Stamp.

Make A Wish Birthday Card with Glitter Paste

Hello my friends! I hope you are all having an amazing day today. I am sharing a clean birthday card design using stamps from Mama Elephant and Simon Says Stamp.

5.jpg

I took a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock and taped it to a board. On top of that I placed the Mini Staggered Circles stencil from My Favorite Things and I went over that with Fallen Snow Glitter Paste from Brutus Monroe. To make it sparkle even more I took the stencil off and sprinkled Unicorn Dust glitter over the whole thing. The glitter sticks to the paste.

7.jpg

I stamped a mermaid from the Little Mermaiden Agenda stamp set from Mama Elephant onto some Neenah Solar White with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink. I colored the mermaid in with Copic markers and cut it out using my Scan N Cut. Next I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Tiny Words Birthday stamp set from Simon Says Stamp onto Peacock cardstock and cut it into a strip.

6.jpg

I stamped a sentiment from the Big Birthday Greetings stamp set from Simon Says Stamp onto a panel of Neenah Solar White. I then took my Glitter Paste panel and cut and oval from the center using the Hero Arts Nested Ovals die set. I popped up the Glitter Paste panel on the sentiment panel with foam tape so that the sentiment was right in the middle of the window. I popped up the mermaid and the tiny sentiment in the window with foam tape.

8.jpg

I took and A2 size card base and adhered a piece of Fog cardstock to the front. I then took my windowed panel and glued that to the card base. To finish the card I added some Coast sequins from Lucy’s Cards. I also added highlights and details to the mermaid with a white gel pen. Finally, I went over the smaller sentiment with Wink of Stella glitter.

Rainbow Shaker Card | Pink & Main

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a card created using the Bright Side Stamp and Die set from Pink and Main.

1.jpg

First I stamped the rainbow from the set with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink and colored it in with Copic markers. I die cut it with the coordinating die. I also used the die set to cut out some clouds from white glitter cardstock.

3.jpg

I cut out a frame from some scrap white cardstock and glued some acetate to it to make a shaker window. I added doubled up foam tape around the back of the frame and filled up the shaker with clear glitter and micro pearls. I closed up the shaker with some Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock.

2.jpg

I glued my shaker to an A2 size card base. I then glued the rainbow and clouds on the shake. I stamped a sentiment on white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and popped it up on the card.

4.jpg

To finish up the card I went over the sentiment with a glitter brush.
