Teacher Thank You Spinner Card | Lawn Fawn

Hey y’all! Today I am sharing a thank you card for a teacher and this card is special because it is a spinner card!! The stamp set I used for this card is the Thanks a Bushel set from Lawn Fawn.

1.jpg

I started this card by stamping a bunch of the apples and the basket of apples on Neenah cardstock with Gina K Jet Black Amalgam ink. I then stamped faces from the set on each of the apples. I colored in the images with Copic markers and then cut them out with my Scan N Cut.

3.jpg

I die cut a circle out of Lucky Clover cardstock from Gina K and a ring out of Green Apple cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. I then stamped the Plank background from Simon onto a 4.5 x 4.5 piece of Dark Chocolate cardstock from Gina K. I adhered that background to a 5 x 5 card base made from Kraft cardstock.

2.jpg

Using foam tape around the inside of the Green Apple ring of cardstock I started making my spinner on the card. I closed it up with the Lucky Clover circle. I then glued the apples all around the spinner and the basket of apples to the center.

5.jpg

For my sentiment I stamped the Thanks a Bushel stamp on Neenah cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut it to a strip. I popped that sentiment up with foam tape on the card. I then added a second sentiment to the inside of the card which says “for being a great teacher.”

For the finishing touches on the card I added highlights to the apples with a white gel pen.

Creating A Floral Thank You Card | Spellbinders

Today I created a card using some products from Spellbinders!

1.jpg

I created my background using the solid leaf images from the Botanical Feather from Spellbinders set and Midnight Green cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the images with Versamark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I popped up the background panel onto a base that was the same color.

2.jpg

I stamped the floral image from the set four times and colored them in with Copic markers. I cut the flowers out using my Scan N Cut.

4.JPG

I stamped a sentiment from the Floral Love stamp set from Spellbinders onto a die cut circle with Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I mounted that circle to a vellum circle and popped it up on my card. I then arranged the flowers around the circle and glued them with Gina K Connect Glue.

3.JPG

I stamped another sentiment from the Tiny Words stamp set from Simon Says Stamp onto some black cardstock and embossed it in white. I cut that to a small strip and glued it to my card. For the finishing touched I added some sequins, some Wink of Stella, and some dashed lines with a gold marker.

Floral Thank You | Pink & Main Release Sneak Peek

Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well! Today I am sharing a card using a stamp set from Pink & Main’s upcoming release.

4.JPG

I stamped the bouquets from the stamp set onto some Bristol Smooth paper with Versamark ink. I embossed them with Alabaster white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I then colored in the flowers with Arteza watercolor markers.

2.jpg

I took another piece of Bristol Smooth paper and blended some Distress Oxide ink on the bottom half in the color Twisted Citron. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers I colored in. I then popped those flowers up on the bottom of the Distress Oxide ink panel.

3.JPG

I stamped a sentiment above the flowers with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I adhered that whole panel onto a slightly larger panel of pink cardstock and then to a card base.

To finish up the card I added some sequins with Gina K Connect Glue.

Simple and Clean Thank You | Brutus Monroe Monochrome Blog Hop

Hey everyone! Today I have a simple and clean card design to share with you for the Brutus Monroe Monochrome blog hop. I started this card with a piece of watercolor paper taped down to a board. I painted the paper with Blue Green Aqua Pigment paint.

1.jpg

Next I prepped the paper with a powder tool for embossing. I taped a stencil down over the paper and smooshed some embossing ink on it to transfer the design to the paper. The stencil I used is from Brutus Monroe’s Stencil of the Month club. I would highly recommend checking this club out if you love stencils, there are amazing things coming! I embossed the stenciled design with Icicle embossing powder. To finish up the background I went over the paper with another layer of Blue Green Aqua Pigment.

2.jpg

For the sentiment I stamped the Thank You stamp from the Super Sentimental stamp set onto some Alabaster white cardstock using my MISTI tool. I stamped it using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I felt like this ink closely matched the color of the Aqua Pigment paint that I used.

3.jpg

I adhered the background that I created to a white card base. I then took the sentiment, cut it into a square and mounted it onto a piece of vellum. Finally I glued the sentiment square onto the card with foam tape.

Thank You Card with Heat Embossing | Brutus Monroe Hop

Today I created a thank you card featuring lots of heat embossing for the Brutus Monroe Thank You Card Blog Hop.

1.jpg

I started with a piece of Slate cardstock in my MISTI prepped with a powder tool for embossing. I stamped the large rose image from the Enchanted Rose stamp set with embossing ink and then embossed it with Icicle embossing powder. I then did the same thing with a piece of vellum except this time I embossed with Alabaster white embossing powder.

2.jpg

I popped up the Slate panel onto a Neenah Desert Storm cardstock card base with foam tape. I then took the vellum piece and fussy cut the large rose out with some scissors. Using a lot of tiny piece of foam tape behind the embossing, I popped the vellum rose up on top of the Slate panel’s rose.

3.jpg

I die cut the Thanks die out of some gold cardstock and two more out of some white cardstock. I glued the three die cuts together to create a really sturdy dimensional word. I glued that to the vellum rose with some liquid glue.

4.jpg

To finish up the card I splattered some Pearl Aqua Pigment pain onto the background. I went around the board with a white gel pen doing some dashed lines. Finally I added a few different sizes of clear sequins.
