Thanksgiving Thank You Card | Spellbinders Small Die of the Month October 2019

Hello my friends! Today’s card features the Small Die of the Month kit from Spellbinders. This kit is wonderful for both Thanksgiving and Christmas cards!

First I die cut all of the pieces to create the woman and the pie. The dress of the woman is a great place to use some of the paper in your patterned paper stash! I glued them together using Gina K Designs Connect glue. I decided to have my woman holding a pie, but there are other options in the kit such as a tiny Christmas tree or a present.

For the background I stamped the Flannel Life background onto a piece of Peaches and Cream cardstock with Versamark ink. I stamped a sentiment onto the panel with Hazelnut Blend ink.

8.jpg

Next I popped the panel up onto a dark brown card base with foam tape. I also used foam tape to adhere the woman on the card off to the left side.

For the finishing touches I used a white gel pen to add dashed lines around the edge of the stamped panel.

Purple Pumpkin Card | Spellbinders Large Die of the Month October 2019

Hey crafty people! Today’s card features the October 2019 Large Die of the Month kit from Spellbinders.

2.jpg

I cut some of the leafy dies out of Fog and Summer Days cardstock. I then cut the pumpkin out of black cardstock and used colored pencils to give it some purple color. I also colored the stem brown.

3.jpg

I glued all of the leafy cuts onto some patterned paper and then popped up the pumpkin with foam tape. I then popped up the panel onto a dark brown card base. I placed the panel flush to the upper left corner, leaving some of the base showing on the bottom and right edges.

1.jpg

I picked out a sentiment from the Tiny Words stamp set and embossed it in white on brown cardstock. I cut it into a strip and popped it up next to the pumpkin.

4.jpg

For the final touches I used a brown Copic marker and added some dots around the leafy cuts. I then used Journey Glaze on the dots to give them some dimension and shine.

Teacher Thank You Spinner Card | Lawn Fawn

Hey y’all! Today I am sharing a thank you card for a teacher and this card is special because it is a spinner card!! The stamp set I used for this card is the Thanks a Bushel set from Lawn Fawn.

1.jpg

I started this card by stamping a bunch of the apples and the basket of apples on Neenah cardstock with Gina K Jet Black Amalgam ink. I then stamped faces from the set on each of the apples. I colored in the images with Copic markers and then cut them out with my Scan N Cut.

3.jpg

I die cut a circle out of Lucky Clover cardstock from Gina K and a ring out of Green Apple cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. I then stamped the Plank background from Simon onto a 4.5 x 4.5 piece of Dark Chocolate cardstock from Gina K. I adhered that background to a 5 x 5 card base made from Kraft cardstock.

2.jpg

Using foam tape around the inside of the Green Apple ring of cardstock I started making my spinner on the card. I closed it up with the Lucky Clover circle. I then glued the apples all around the spinner and the basket of apples to the center.

5.jpg

For my sentiment I stamped the Thanks a Bushel stamp on Neenah cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut it to a strip. I popped that sentiment up with foam tape on the card. I then added a second sentiment to the inside of the card which says “for being a great teacher.”

4.jpg

For the finishing touches on the card I added highlights to the apples with a white gel pen.

Creating A Floral Thank You Card | Spellbinders

Today I created a card using some products from Spellbinders!

1.jpg

I created my background using the solid leaf images from the Botanical Feather from Spellbinders set and Midnight Green cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the images with Versamark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I popped up the background panel onto a base that was the same color.

2.jpg

I stamped the floral image from the set four times and colored them in with Copic markers. I cut the flowers out using my Scan N Cut.

4.JPG

I stamped a sentiment from the Floral Love stamp set from Spellbinders onto a die cut circle with Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I mounted that circle to a vellum circle and popped it up on my card. I then arranged the flowers around the circle and glued them with Gina K Connect Glue.

3.JPG

I stamped another sentiment from the Tiny Words stamp set from Simon Says Stamp onto some black cardstock and embossed it in white. I cut that to a small strip and glued it to my card. For the finishing touched I added some sequins, some Wink of Stella, and some dashed lines with a gold marker.

Floral Thank You | Pink & Main Release Sneak Peek

Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well! Today I am sharing a card using a stamp set from Pink & Main’s upcoming release.

4.JPG

I stamped the bouquets from the stamp set onto some Bristol Smooth paper with Versamark ink. I embossed them with Alabaster white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I then colored in the flowers with Arteza watercolor markers.

2.jpg

I took another piece of Bristol Smooth paper and blended some Distress Oxide ink on the bottom half in the color Twisted Citron. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers I colored in. I then popped those flowers up on the bottom of the Distress Oxide ink panel.

3.JPG

I stamped a sentiment above the flowers with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I adhered that whole panel onto a slightly larger panel of pink cardstock and then to a card base.

1.jpg

To finish up the card I added some sequins with Gina K Connect Glue.
