Good Luck Card | Distress Oxide Blending and Texture Paste

Hello crafty people! Today I created a card using some products from CZ Designs and Simon Says Stamp!

I started by creating a background with some Distress Oxide ink blending. I used the colors Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, and Squeezed Lemonade. I then added some texture to the panel using Ranger Transparent Gloss Texture Paste and the Mod Stripe stencil from Simon Says Stamp.

I used the Good Luck die set from CZ Designs and cut out the word three times our of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White and glued them together to make a really dimensional piece. I then cut the shadow die out of Bazzill Licorice Twist cardstock and glued the dimensional word to that. I stamped a few sentiments from the Great Things stamp with Versamark ink on black cardstock and embossed them with white embossing powder.

I mounted my textured panel onto a piece of black cardstock and then popped that whole panel up onto a card base with foam tape. I glued the die cut sentiment in the middle of the card with Gina K Designs Connect Glue. I then popped up my smaller sentiment strips above and below the die cut sentiment.

To finish up the card I filled in some of the areas around the sentiment with sequins. I used the Girl’s Best Friend sequin mix from Simon Says Stamp. I also went over the small sentiment strips with Wink of Stella glitter.
