No-line Coloring Get Well Card | Colorado Craft Company

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am sharing a no-line coloring card featuring a stamp set from Colorado Craft Company!

I stamped the large image from the Get Well stamp set onto Neenah Desery Storm cardstock using my Misti tool. I stamped with Versamark ink so that the image would just be a very light watermark. This is what makes the no-line coloring technique possible.

I coloring in the image using my Prismacolor pencils. Once the coloring was done I die cut the image out with a circle die. I then glued that circle to a slightly larger circle die cut from white cardstock.

I cut a piece of Slate cardstock to 4.25 x 4.25 and then adhered it to a card base that was also cut to be 4.25 x 4.25. I glued my circle piece to the middle of the card. For my sentiment I embossed one of the stamps from the set onto Bazzill Licorice Twist cardstock with Alabaster white embossing powder. I popped the sentiment up onto the card with foam tape.

To finish up the card I added some really simple embellishments. I used two white hearts from Doodlebug and a sequin from the Girl’s Best Friend sequin set from Simon Says Stamp.

Spellbinders Small Die of the Month January 2019 | First Crush

Today I am sharing a card created using the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club. This kit allows you to put together a cute little paper doll and it comes with lots of options so that you can make a really unique character. It also comes with dies to make a cute little heart balloon.

I cut out all of the pieces for my doll from different colors of cardstock. I used a piece of patterned paper for the dress. I also cut out the balloon and sting.

I used Gina K Connect glue to put my paper doll together. I decided to make a 4x8 card base for this design and I popped up a blue piece of cardstock onto that. I glued down my paper doll to the card. I also added the heart balloon.

Using a T-Square ruler and a white gel pen I added a frame around the doll. For my sentiment I stamped the ‘hugs’ stamp from the Floral Love stamp set onto some dark gray cardstock. I stamped it with Versamark ink and embossed it in Alabaster white embossing powder. I cut the sentiment into a strip and popped it up on the side of the card.

For the finishing touched on the card I first went over the balloon with Glossy Accents to give it some dimension. Next I added some cute puffy heart stickers around the sentiment. I used a white gel pen to add some details and highlights to the paper doll. Finally I created a fun wavy swirl design along the background using my white gel pen, some small clear star sequins, and a Wink of Stella glitter brush.
