To the Moon and Back with Glitter | Mama Elephant

Today I am sharing a simple card using the Wish Upon a Star stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I started by stamped the sentiment on a piece of Gina K Designs In The Navy cardstock with Versamark ink. I embossed it with Alabaster white embossing powder. I then stamped starts and clouds from the Wish Upon a Star set all over the background with Versamark ink.

I die cut a bunch of clouds out of Neenah white cardstock and vellum with the Infinity Cloud die set from Hero Arts. I arranged them along the bottom of the background and glued them down with Gina K Designs Connect Glue. I then glued the whole panel to a card base.

I pulled out the colored in image of the bunny on the moon. I colored it in in a previous video and then didn’t end up using it. I popped that up on the card with foam tape. I then went over the moon with Glossy Accents and sprinkled Unicorn Dust glitter over the top.

To finish up the card I went over the vellum clouds with Wink of Stella and I added a few star sequins to the background.

Distress Oxide Night Sky | Mama Elephant

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a card I created using the Wish Upon a Star stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I stamped all of the bunnies from the set on Bristol Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink and colored them in with Arteza watercolor markers. I fussy cut the images out using my Scan N Cut 2.

2.jpg

I created a night sky background by first blending with Distress Oxide ink in the colors Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot. I blended some cloud on the sky with the Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and Unicorn white pigment ink from Hero Arts. I adhered this background panel onto an A2 size card base.

I embossed a bunch of the stars from the sent on the background with a clear embossing powder. I also embossed a sentiment with Alabaster white embossing powder.

I used some rectangle dies to create a frame out of white cardstock and popped it up on the card with foam tape. I also popped up one of the bunny images that I colored (the others were saved for future cards.) To finish up I went over the cloud and the frame with Wink of Stella glitter.

Rainbows and Unicorns Shaker | My Favorite Things

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am sharing a fuse tool shaker card using some products from My Favorite Things.

1.jpg

I used Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and the cloud stencil from My Favorite Things to create a cloudy background panel. I then closed that panel up into a shaker pocket with my fuse tool, adding in some sequins from Lucy’s Cards.

3.JPG

I stamped some of the images from the Rainbows and Unicorns stamp set and colored them in with Copics. I also stamped a sentiment from that set onto Cotton Candy cardstock from Simon Says Stamp and embossed it with Alabaster white embossing powder.

2.jpg

I adhered the shaker pocket to an A2 card base with my ATG gun. I then glued the sentiment strip and the rainbow image along the bottom of the card. I die cut some clouds out of vellum and placed them above the sentiment. I glued the unicorn down over the clouds and onto the card.

To finish up this card I added some highlights to the images with a white gel pen. I then went over all of the clouds with my Wink of Stella glitter brush.
