Ok! Let’s get to the card making! I stamped a bunch of the images from the Celebrate Life stamp set with black ink on Neenah white cardstock. I colored in the images with the Nuvo alcohol markers and then cut them all out.

I picked out the “happy birthday” sentiment from the Celebrate Sentiments stamp set and stamped it onto a large strip of white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then adhered that strip onto a panel of patterned paper. Using a white gel pen I went around the edge of the patterned paper with dashed lines.

I arranged all of the images on the panel and then glued them down with either Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive or foam tape. I then glued the whole panel onto a card base. I added highlights to all of the stamped images with a white gel pen.

For the finishing touches I first used Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the balloon, the cherries, and the circles on the cake. Next I added some sparkle here and there with a glitter brush. Finally I added a whole bunch of sequins on the background to make this card really look like a real crazy party.

Thanks for joining me today, be sure to keep hopping along!

January Countdown to Confetti Day Two | Reverse Confetti

Hey crafty friends! It’s day two of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!

Today’s sneak peek products:

Big Bear
Heart Pals

I will also be featuring the Diagonal Stitches background die and the From Cupid patterned paper from the release!

For the first card I stamped one of the bears and a heart from the Big Bear stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. When you die cut the bear with the coordinating die it cuts the arms so that you can have him hold something so I have him holding the heart.

I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a white panel of cardstock. I cut a circle out of that panel and added some acetate so I could make a shaker. For the background of my shaker I used some of the fun patterned paper from the release.

For the shaker bits I used red sequins. I added some details to my bear with white gel pen and glued him the the shaker.

For my next card I used the Heat Pals stamp set as well as the Diagonal Stitches background die. I stamped the little bunny and bear stamp and colored it in with colored pencils. I used the coordinating die to cut them out.

For my background I used a striped piece of patterned paper from the release. I then added a smaller panel on top of that which I die cut with the Diagonal Stitched die. Next I popped up a smaller panel of plain white cardstock onto the card.

I popped up my little critters onto the small white panel with some foam tape. I used a gray colored pencil to add a drop shadow underneath them. I stamped the sentiment onto some red cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder. I glued that underneath the critters.

For the finishing touches on this card I stamped the trio of small hearts stamp above the animals with light gray ink. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the two critters. I then added a few different sized of sequins across the card with some liquid glue.

Be sure to check out all of the sneak peeks from the other amazing designers! Don’t forget to comment on all of different post. There will be a $15 Gift Certificate for one blog commenter and also one Facebook commenter! (Reverse Confetti Facebook Page) Comments will close at noon CST on January 7th and the winner will be announced at 5pm that same day on the Reverse Confetti blog and Facebook page.

Animals in the Arctic Flavor of the Month | Scrapping For Less Blog Hop

Hello my friends! Today I am sharing some cards I created using the Flavor of the Month kit from Scrapping For Less. Be sure to check out the video to see the unboxing as well as how I made one of the cards below.

“December’s kit is all about Arctic Animals…Now if you are anything like me, you hate the cold weather, snow, and anything that would mean being cold. However, snow and these cute little critters in this kit are all about fun! So grab your warm beverage, sit back, and hop along with us to see these adorable critters and all the inspiration our designers have to share. Check out the Flavor of the Month page to place your order if you haven’t subscribed. Also, don’t forget to check the A La Carte items (items that are leftover (full packs and such) from putting the kits together, and other items that we have on the website that may coordinate with this kit. Make sure you also put your name in for that Rafflecopter prize!”

The Flavor of the Month kit comes with 4 mini collections inside of it. Each collection contains a bunch of products which were thoughtfully picked out to go together to make beautiful cards. The kit also inclues 8 pieces of 8.5 x 11 cardstock in various colors. There is an upgraded version of the kit called the “Banana Split” which adds on even more goodies.

I created one card from each collection to share with you today!

Collection One Card

I colored in the bear on this card with colored pencils. I embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder and popped it up with foam tape. I used one of the gorgeous patterned papers for the background.

Collection Two Card

I used the fun mug shaker element that came in this collection. It was easy to use and the sequins from the collection looked great in it!

Collection Three Card

You can see how I created this card in the video above! I love the way this one turned out.

Collection Four Card

I absolutely adore the patterned paper that I used on this card. This collection had some really cool paper. I colored in the foxes with colored pencils and the sentiment that I used came from the stamp set in the Banana Split extras.

Thanks for stopping by with my today! I hope you enjoyed these card designs!
