Colorful Butterfly Background | Simon Says Stamp

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a card using the Outline Butterflies background stamp from Simon Says Stamps new release.

5.jpg

I stamped the Outline Butterflies background on some Bristol Smooth paper with Versamark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then blended over the embossed background with Distress Oxide ink. I used the colors Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet. I adhered the background panel to an A2 size card base.

7.jpg

I stamped a sentiment from the Love You Mama stamp set from Simon Says Stamp on some vellum and embossed it with Alabaster embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I fussy cut that sentiment out and popped it up on the card with foam tape.

6.jpg

I stamped a smaller sentiment on white cardstock with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink. I cut it into a small strip and popped it up above the larger sentiment. Next I used a white Prismacolor pencil to color in the butterflies in the background.

8.jpg

To finish up the card I added some clear sequins. I also used Wink of Stella on the smaller sentiment as well as on some of the butterflies in the background.

No-line Coloring Get Well Card | Colorado Craft Company

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am sharing a no-line coloring card featuring a stamp set from Colorado Craft Company!

1.jpg

I stamped the large image from the Get Well stamp set onto Neenah Desery Storm cardstock using my Misti tool. I stamped with Versamark ink so that the image would just be a very light watermark. This is what makes the no-line coloring technique possible.

I coloring in the image using my Prismacolor pencils. Once the coloring was done I die cut the image out with a circle die. I then glued that circle to a slightly larger circle die cut from white cardstock.

2.jpg

I cut a piece of Slate cardstock to 4.25 x 4.25 and then adhered it to a card base that was also cut to be 4.25 x 4.25. I glued my circle piece to the middle of the card. For my sentiment I embossed one of the stamps from the set onto Bazzill Licorice Twist cardstock with Alabaster white embossing powder. I popped the sentiment up onto the card with foam tape.

4.JPG

To finish up the card I added some really simple embellishments. I used two white hearts from Doodlebug and a sequin from the Girl’s Best Friend sequin set from Simon Says Stamp.

Sneak Peek January 2019 Release | Pink & Main

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing some sneak peeks from Pink & Main’s upcoming January release. This The entire release is so amazing but for today I am sneak peeking four new products on a card.

17.jpg

I stamped the cute image with the bears from the Perfect Couple stamp set with black ink and colored it in with colored pencils. All of the bears in this stamp set are so adorable! I used the coordinating die set in order to cut the bears out.

18.jpg

The next product I am featuring is the Watercolor Foil paper pad. I grabbed a piece of this gorgeous 6 x 6 paper and cut it down for the background on the card.

20.jpg

I wrapped a piece of vellum around one side of the panel to be a base for where I place my bears. I didn't want to cover up the pretty paper, but I also knew my bears needed a base so they didn't get lost. Vellum is a great solution here because it allows you to still see the paper! I popped up the bear onto the vellum with foam tape.

19.jpg

My sentiment comes from the Perfect Couple stamp set. I popped that up on the card and then added some of the new Rose Gold Glossy Dots. As a lover of all things Rose Gold I was ecstatic when I saw these in the release!

January Countdown to Confetti Day Two | Reverse Confetti

Hey crafty friends! It’s day two of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!

Today’s sneak peek products:

Big Bear
Heart Pals

I will also be featuring the Diagonal Stitches background die and the From Cupid patterned paper from the release!

172.jpg

For the first card I stamped one of the bears and a heart from the Big Bear stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. When you die cut the bear with the coordinating die it cuts the arms so that you can have him hold something so I have him holding the heart.

8.jpg

I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a white panel of cardstock. I cut a circle out of that panel and added some acetate so I could make a shaker. For the background of my shaker I used some of the fun patterned paper from the release.

9.jpg

For the shaker bits I used red sequins. I added some details to my bear with white gel pen and glued him the the shaker.

10.jpg

For my next card I used the Heat Pals stamp set as well as the Diagonal Stitches background die. I stamped the little bunny and bear stamp and colored it in with colored pencils. I used the coordinating die to cut them out.

For my background I used a striped piece of patterned paper from the release. I then added a smaller panel on top of that which I die cut with the Diagonal Stitched die. Next I popped up a smaller panel of plain white cardstock onto the card.

12.jpg

I popped up my little critters onto the small white panel with some foam tape. I used a gray colored pencil to add a drop shadow underneath them. I stamped the sentiment onto some red cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder. I glued that underneath the critters.

13.jpg

For the finishing touches on this card I stamped the trio of small hearts stamp above the animals with light gray ink. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the two critters. I then added a few different sized of sequins across the card with some liquid glue.
