Distress Oxide Night Sky | Mama Elephant

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a card I created using the Wish Upon a Star stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I stamped all of the bunnies from the set on Bristol Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink and colored them in with Arteza watercolor markers. I fussy cut the images out using my Scan N Cut 2.

I created a night sky background by first blending with Distress Oxide ink in the colors Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot. I blended some cloud on the sky with the Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and Unicorn white pigment ink from Hero Arts. I adhered this background panel onto an A2 size card base.

I embossed a bunch of the stars from the sent on the background with a clear embossing powder. I also embossed a sentiment with Alabaster white embossing powder.

I used some rectangle dies to create a frame out of white cardstock and popped it up on the card with foam tape. I also popped up one of the bunny images that I colored (the others were saved for future cards.) To finish up I went over the cloud and the frame with Wink of Stella glitter.

Floral Thank You | Pink & Main Release Sneak Peek

Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well! Today I am sharing a card using a stamp set from Pink & Main’s upcoming release.

4.JPG

I stamped the bouquets from the stamp set onto some Bristol Smooth paper with Versamark ink. I embossed them with Alabaster white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I then colored in the flowers with Arteza watercolor markers.

I took another piece of Bristol Smooth paper and blended some Distress Oxide ink on the bottom half in the color Twisted Citron. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers I colored in. I then popped those flowers up on the bottom of the Distress Oxide ink panel.

3.JPG

I stamped a sentiment above the flowers with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I adhered that whole panel onto a slightly larger panel of pink cardstock and then to a card base.

To finish up the card I added some sequins with Gina K Connect Glue.

Sweet Carousel Shaker Card | Pink & Main

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a really fun and sparkly shaker card.

1.jpg

I stamped the adorable unicorn from the Sweet Carousel stamp set by Pink & Main onto Bristol Smooth paper and then colored it in with Arteza watercolor markers. I used the coordinating die to cut the unicorn out using my Big Shot.

3.JPG

Next I took an A2 size panel of white cardstock and cut a square out of it. I glued a piece of acetate to the back to make a window. Using foam tape I went around that window and then filled the space with large clear glitter. I closed up the shaker with a piece of light pink cardstock.

2.jpg

I took the unicorn that I colored in a glued it in the middle of the shaker window. I then glued the whole panel to an A2 size card base.

For the sentiment I picked out a stamp from the Sweet Carousel stamp set and stamped it onto dark gray cardstock with embossing ink. I embossed it with white embossing powder and then popped it up in my card.

I stamped all of the animals from the stamp set onto Bristol Smooth paper. I colored them in with Arteza markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the critters.

Belated Birthday Card | Reverse Confetti

Hello crafty friends! I have another card to show you today using some of the products in Reverse Confetti’s most recent release!

2.jpg

I started this card by stamping the bear and knitting needles from the Big Bear stamp set onto some Neenah solar white cardstock. I colored them in with Arteza watercolor markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used some glue to adhere the knitting needles to the bear so that it looks like he is using them.

3.jpg

Next I used the Diagonal Stitches cover panel to die cut some white cardstock. I then rotated the die panel on the paper and ran it through my big shot again to create a quilted look. I thought this would work well with the knitting theme of the card. I mounted my quilted square onto a piece of dark gray cardstock and then popped that up on a square card base.

1.jpg

For the sentiment I stamped one of the stamps from the Big Bear set onto some coral colored cardstock and embossed it in white. I cut that down to a strip and glued it to my card. I then took the bear and glued him to the card as well.

4.jpg

To finish up the card I added a mixture of sequins going across the card. I also used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the bear.
