Clean and Simple Card Design | Simon's New Release

Hey guys! Today I am sharing a card I made using a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp’s brand new release!

1.jpg

I stamped the dog from the Chillin Frenchies stamp set onto Bristol Smooth paper with Gina K’s Jet Black Amalgam ink. I then painted him using my Arteza watercolor markers and fussy cut him out with a Scan N Cut.

2.jpg

To create the background I stamped some of the smaller images from the set onto some Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Fog ink. I stamped a sentiment right on top of that background with black ink. Next I embossed a smaller sentiment onto Schoolhouse Red cardstock from SSS with white embossing powder. I cut that small sentiment into a strip and popped it up under the larger sentiment.

3.jpg

I used foam tape to pop up the dog on the background and then popped up that whole panel onto an A2 size card base.

4.jpg

For the finishing touched I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the dog and a Copic to add details around his nose.

Interactive Mermaid Spinner Card | Mama Elephant

Hello my friends! Today I am sharing a really fun interactive card using the Little Mermaiden Agenda stamp set from Mama Elephant. First I stamped all of the images from the Little Mermaiden Agenda stamp set on Bristol Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink. I colored them in using my Arteza watercolor markers and then I cut them all out with my Scan N Cut.

1.jpg

On a large piece of Bristol Smooth paper I blended a background with Distress Oxide inks. I used the colors Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Blueprint Sketch. I then placed the Waves stencil from Simon Says Stamp over the background and blended over it with white pigment ink. Once that was dry I went over it once more with the Distress Oxide ink to darken it up a little.

2.jpg

I cut down my background panel to be 5.75 x 5.75. I then cut two different size rings out of Bristol Smooth paper with the Hero Arts nested circle dies. I blended over these circles trying to match the same blending on my background panel. I also cut a ring out of some thick, durable plastic which I cut from some packaging. I took the smaller of the two blended rings and glued it to the middle of the background.

4.jpg

Using the ring on the background as a guide I very carefully placed a long piece of doubled up foam tape around the inner circle to make a shaker area. Next I placed the plastic ring around the foam tape ring. I glued a piece of acetate to the second blended ring to make a window. I filled up the shaker area with clear Micro Pearls from Brutus Monroe and Sea Glass sequins from Simon Says Stamp. I then closed up the shaker with the window piece.

3.jpg

I glued the little mermaid images that I colored all the way around the plastic ring. This ring is able to spin around because of the way it is put together. I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Mermaids stamp set from Simon Says Stamp on some Neenah Solar White cardstock with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I popped up the sentiment on the bottom of the shaker and glued one of the mermaids on the shaker window.

5.jpg

For the finishing touches I first took a white gel pen and added highlights to all the mermaids. I also added some dots on the shaker ring to look like small bubbles. I glued three of the little fish images from the Little Mermaiden Agenda set across the shaker. Lastly, I added a few Raindrops embellishments from Lucy’s Cards.

Distress Oxide Night Sky | Mama Elephant

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a card I created using the Wish Upon a Star stamp set from Mama Elephant.

4.JPG

I stamped all of the bunnies from the set on Bristol Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink and colored them in with Arteza watercolor markers. I fussy cut the images out using my Scan N Cut 2.

2.jpg

I created a night sky background by first blending with Distress Oxide ink in the colors Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot. I blended some cloud on the sky with the Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and Unicorn white pigment ink from Hero Arts. I adhered this background panel onto an A2 size card base.

1.jpg

I embossed a bunch of the stars from the sent on the background with a clear embossing powder. I also embossed a sentiment with Alabaster white embossing powder.

3.JPG

I used some rectangle dies to create a frame out of white cardstock and popped it up on the card with foam tape. I also popped up one of the bunny images that I colored (the others were saved for future cards.) To finish up I went over the cloud and the frame with Wink of Stella glitter.

Floral Thank You | Pink & Main Release Sneak Peek

Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well! Today I am sharing a card using a stamp set from Pink & Main’s upcoming release.

4.JPG

I stamped the bouquets from the stamp set onto some Bristol Smooth paper with Versamark ink. I embossed them with Alabaster white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I then colored in the flowers with Arteza watercolor markers.

2.jpg

I took another piece of Bristol Smooth paper and blended some Distress Oxide ink on the bottom half in the color Twisted Citron. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers I colored in. I then popped those flowers up on the bottom of the Distress Oxide ink panel.

3.JPG

I stamped a sentiment above the flowers with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I adhered that whole panel onto a slightly larger panel of pink cardstock and then to a card base.

1.jpg

To finish up the card I added some sequins with Gina K Connect Glue.

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a really fun and sparkly shaker card.

1.jpg

I stamped the adorable unicorn from the Sweet Carousel stamp set by Pink & Main onto Bristol Smooth paper and then colored it in with Arteza watercolor markers. I used the coordinating die to cut the unicorn out using my Big Shot.

3.JPG

2.jpg

I took the unicorn that I colored in a glued it in the middle of the shaker window. I then glued the whole panel to an A2 size card base.
