January Countdown to Confetti Day Two | Reverse Confetti

Hey crafty friends! It’s day two of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!

Today’s sneak peek products:

Big Bear
Heart Pals

I will also be featuring the Diagonal Stitches background die and the From Cupid patterned paper from the release!

172.jpg

For the first card I stamped one of the bears and a heart from the Big Bear stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. When you die cut the bear with the coordinating die it cuts the arms so that you can have him hold something so I have him holding the heart.

8.jpg

I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a white panel of cardstock. I cut a circle out of that panel and added some acetate so I could make a shaker. For the background of my shaker I used some of the fun patterned paper from the release.

9.jpg

For the shaker bits I used red sequins. I added some details to my bear with white gel pen and glued him the the shaker.

10.jpg

For my next card I used the Heat Pals stamp set as well as the Diagonal Stitches background die. I stamped the little bunny and bear stamp and colored it in with colored pencils. I used the coordinating die to cut them out.

For my background I used a striped piece of patterned paper from the release. I then added a smaller panel on top of that which I die cut with the Diagonal Stitched die. Next I popped up a smaller panel of plain white cardstock onto the card.

12.jpg

I popped up my little critters onto the small white panel with some foam tape. I used a gray colored pencil to add a drop shadow underneath them. I stamped the sentiment onto some red cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder. I glued that underneath the critters.

13.jpg

For the finishing touches on this card I stamped the trio of small hearts stamp above the animals with light gray ink. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the two critters. I then added a few different sized of sequins across the card with some liquid glue.

Hey everyone! Today is the start of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti! I am so excited to be sharing some sneak peeks from the release with you today!

Today’s sneak peek products:

Love You Most
Patterned Hearts

I will also be featuring the Diagonal Stitches background die and the From Cupid patterned paper from the release!

172.jpg

For this first set of cards I used the Patterned Hears stamp set along with its coordinating dies. This stamp set is a really great addition to any collection for year round use!

1.jpg

I stamped the hearts with embossing ink onto white cardstock and embossed one of them with gold embossing powder and the other one with rose gold. I then die cut the stamped hearts with the coordinating die and also cut the larger white hearts out with the outline die. I popped up the stamped hearts onto the plain white hearts with foam tape.

2.jpg

Using my finished heart piece as a guide I curved the “I adore you” sentiment onto my MISTI stamping tool so that it would stamp along the edge of the heart. I then embossed the sentiment on some vellum with rose gold embossing powder.

3.jpg

For the backgrounds on the two cards I used some of the fun patterned paper from the release.

4.jpg

For this next card I stamped 5 of the circle stamps from the Love You Most set in fun colors. The sixth circle was embossed in silver. I used some more of the awesome patterned paper for my background as well as a piece of white cardstock which I die cut with the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel.

5.jpg

I popped up the six circles onto the card with foam tape and added some glossy accents to the embossed one. To complete the card I added some silver twine around the binding.

Masculine Birthday Card | Simon Says Stamp Birthday Numbers

Hello my friends! Today I am sharing a masculine birthday card design featuring some products from Simon Says Stamp.

11.jpg

I stamped the Plank background stamp onto a piece of Bazzill Licorice Twist cardstock with Versamark ink and embossed it with Icicle embossing powder. Next I blended some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink along the edges.

13.jpg

I stamped the two numbers from the Birthday Numbers stamp set onto some black cardstock and embossed them with Alabaster embossing powder. I also stamped two sentiments from the set onto Gina K Designs In The Navy cardstock and embossed them in white as well.

12.jpg

I popped up my background on a black card base with foam tape. I glued the two numbers together so that they were a little bit offset. I adhered that to the card with foam tape as well. Next I took the two sentiments that I created and cut them into strips and popped them up on the card.

14.jpg

I added a fun mix of sequins to the card with Gina K Connect glue. Then I went over the sentiments and the numbers with my Wink of Stella glitter brush. To finish up the card I used a white Prismacolor pencil to add some shading to the numbers.

Rainbow Heart Wreaths | Gina K Wreath Builder Template

Hello crafty friends! For today’s card I used the Gina K Designs Wreath Builder Templates to create a fun rainbow heart card.

4.jpg

I stamped two rings of hearts from the Ornate Love stamp set using the 4 inch wreath builder template. I used Distress Oxide inks from the stamping in the colors Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, and Seedless Preserves.

6.jpg

I added details to the ring of hearts by added smaller hearts and embossing them with Icicle (clear) embossing powder. I added a border to the four corners with a stamp from the Deco Borders and Corners stamp set and embossed that with Sterling embossing powder.

5.jpg

I stamped my sentiment on Bazzill Licorice Twist cardstock and embossed it with Alabaster white embossing powder. I fussy cut the sentiment out with scissors.

7.jpg

I mounted my heart background onto a piece of black cardstock which was slightly larger. I then popped that panel up onto a black card base with foam tape. I adhered the sentiment with tiny pieces of foam tape. For the finishing touches I went over the sentiment and outer border with my Wink of Stella glitter brush. I also added a few sequins.

Simple and Clean Thank You | Brutus Monroe Monochrome Blog Hop

Hey everyone! Today I have a simple and clean card design to share with you for the Brutus Monroe Monochrome blog hop. I started this card with a piece of watercolor paper taped down to a board. I painted the paper with Blue Green Aqua Pigment paint.

1.jpg

Next I prepped the paper with a powder tool for embossing. I taped a stencil down over the paper and smooshed some embossing ink on it to transfer the design to the paper. The stencil I used is from Brutus Monroe’s Stencil of the Month club. I would highly recommend checking this club out if you love stencils, there are amazing things coming! I embossed the stenciled design with Icicle embossing powder. To finish up the background I went over the paper with another layer of Blue Green Aqua Pigment.

2.jpg

For the sentiment I stamped the Thank You stamp from the Super Sentimental stamp set onto some Alabaster white cardstock using my MISTI tool. I stamped it using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I felt like this ink closely matched the color of the Aqua Pigment paint that I used.

3.jpg

I adhered the background that I created to a white card base. I then took the sentiment, cut it into a square and mounted it onto a piece of vellum. Finally I glued the sentiment square onto the card with foam tape.
