Sending Faraway Hugs | Vellum Framed Shaker

Hey everyone! I hope your day is going well today. I have a shaker card to share with you today using some products from Simon Says Stamp.

I took out the Rose Lattice Background stamp and stamped it with Versamark ink on Bristol Smooth paper and embossed it with Alabaster white embossing powder. I then blended over that with Distress Oxide inks in the colors Spun Sugar, Abandoned Coral, Festive Berries, and Aged Mahogany. I cut the background down to 4.25 x 4.25.

Next I picked out the circular frame from the Leafy Frames stamp set from Simon and I stamped it on vellum with Versamark. I embossed that with the Alabaster embossing powder and fussy cut around the outside of the frame. I found a circle die to fit the middle of the frame and cut that out.

I cut a ring out of Plum Hero Arts cardstock and glued it to my leafy circle frame. I then added acetate to the back and went around the circle with doubled up foam tape to make my shaker window. I filled shaker with large clear glitter and adhered it to the ink blended background.

For the first half of the sentiment I stamped the ‘sending’ on vellum and embossed it in white. For the second half I picked a smaller sentiment and stamped it with Dusty Rose on white cardstock. I popped up both sentiments with foam tape. To finish up that card I went over the smaller sentiment with Wink of Stella glitter and added some Moonshine sequins.
