Watercolor Galaxy and Triangle Stencil | Simon Says Stamp

Hello friends! Today I created a card using the Gansai Tambi watercolors and some products from Simon Says Stamp.

I taped a piece of Canson watercolor paper to a board and I used Gansai Tambi watercolors to create a galaxy background. I also used Raven ink from Brutus Monroe to blend along the edges to create a vignette. I added white watercolor paint to an acrylic block and flicked it onto my paper to make the stars.

I taped down the Triangle Blast stencil from Simon Says Stamp over the background and went over it with Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste. Once it was dry I trimmed it to 4 x 5.25 and popped it up on an A2 size card base with foam tape.

For the sentiment I picked out the Lucky to Know You die set from Simon Says Stamp and I cut it out of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock three times. I glued the three sentiments together using Gina K Connect glue to create a dimentional sentiment. I then glued that to the center of my card.

For the finishing touches I added a few Raindrop embellishments from Lucy’s Cards.
