Simple Card Design with Patterned Paper

Today I have a really quick and simple card design using some beautiful patterned paper from Lawn Fawn.

I picked out a piece of paper from the Really Rainbow Christmas paper pad from Lawn Fawn and adhered it to an A2 size card base.

Next I used two dies from the Brutus Monroe Stitched Tags die set. I cut the larger of the two tags from Gina K Wild Wisteria cardstock, and the smaller from Neenah Solar White cardstock. I stamped a sentiment onto the smaller tag with Gina K Amalgam ink. I used a stamp from the Brutus Monroe stamp set Merry and Bright.

I used some silver and white twine to tie my two tags together. The die cuts a little hole at the top of the tag so I just lined those up and thread my twine through. Once I had a nice looking bow I popped the tags up onto my card with foam tape. I didn’t glue down the smaller tag so it can move around.

To finish up that card I added some crystal clear sequins to the bottom of the larger tag. I also went over the sentiment with Wink of Stella glitter.
